JBittle American Performance Engines is the entity that started the AntiCrate engine phenomenon. We use our extensive experience to build custom-made, blueprinted and hand crafted engines using our expanded machine shop and dyno facilities. 	Drive a 1967 Shelby GT500. Found in a field in southern New Jersey in 1975. Then, powered by a Tunnel Port 427 that J installed, and road tripped many times to Texas from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, while attending Texas A&M. J Bittle street raced, dragged, autocrossed, and road raced the Shelby. Today it's powered by 427-based, 482-cid, JBA built, aluminum FE Tunnel Port engine and Nash five-speed.
